Data & Web Analytics Associate
Job Summary:
The Data and Web Analytics Associate at Virtual Analytics will be responsible for handling end-to-end responsibilities related to both data analytics and web analytics, as well as maintaining positive client relationships. This role combines technical expertise in data analytics and web analytics with strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective analysis, data-driven insights, and client satisfaction. The associate will work closely with clients, collect and analyze data from multiple sources, provide actionable recommendations, and optimize online performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analytics:
– Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources using statistical tools and techniques.
– Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data to derive valuable insights.
– Collaborate with the data analytics team to develop analytical models and algorithms.
– Prepare reports and presentations to communicate data analysis findings to clients.
2. Web Analytics:
– Implement web analytics tools and tracking codes on client websites.
– Collect and analyze web data using platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
– Evaluate website performance, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.
– Generate reports and dashboards to present web analytics insights to clients.
3. Data Interpretation and Insights:
– Interpret data analysis results, drawing meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
– Identify opportunities for improving business processes, customer experiences, and marketing strategies.
– Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their objectives and align analytics strategies.
4. Client Relations:
– Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
– Understand client requirements and goals to deliver tailored analytics solutions.
– Conduct regular meetings and presentations to discuss analytics insights, recommendations, and progress.
– Address client inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure client satisfaction.
5. Reporting and Presentation:
– Create comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing data and web analytics findings.
– Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Customize reports based on client preferences and deliver regular updates on performance metrics.
6. Continuous Improvement:
– Stay updated with the latest data analytics and web analytics tools, techniques, and industry trends.
– Explore new methodologies and best practices to enhance analytics capabilities.
– Collaborate with the team to improve data collection processes, data quality, and analysis techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
– Strong analytical skills with experience in both data analytics and web analytics.
– Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
– Familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
– Ability to derive insights from data and generate actionable recommendations.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Role & Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyzemodel performance and data accuracy.
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams
Candidate profile
- 7+ years in the Industry with experience in building Machine learning solutions from scratch
- Master’s degree in one of Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math
- Knowledge of SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or Spark
- Proven experience building and leading quantitative analyses as well experience building AI/ML solutions for a business
- Exposure to Data and Analytics in Fintech/ Banking and Financial services vertical with good understanding of Banking products especially Credit cards, Payments, Insurance and Securities
- Possesses solid understanding of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
- Deeply understands statistical techniques and analytical concepts including hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing important recommendations for business units.
- Successfully demonstrated experience in the execution of data analytics initiatives including productization, leading to the development of useful insights and the improvement of a business’s performance and driving top-line growth
- Possess excellent articulation and cross functional skills.
- Experience working with cross geographies and across cultures

Role & Responsibilities
- Consult to understand business needs and translate those into technical outcomes relating to effective data solutions. Identify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, and report to clients
- Work with the team to produce end-to-end data analytics and BI solutions, including MIS, predictive models, experimentation frameworks and deep analysis
- Play an integral role in data preparation and data wrangling for exploratory data analysis and building AI solutions. Gather, engineer, and prepare data for stakeholders to enable smarter decision making. Use a broad set of data curation and analytical tools and techniques to enable development of quantitative and qualitative business insights.
- Identify problems and analyze the development of KPIs. Deep dive and extract, organize, analyze, and visualize data using Power BI
Support management with important strategic analysis and recommendations
Work Experience:
- Applied Analytics and/or research experience in disruptive and new technologies
- Predictive models and clustering (segmentation), as well as NLP, with expertise in one or more frameworks/libraries such as: SAS, Python, R etc.
- Experience in translating non-trivial business requirements into data science solution, developing and deploying models (preferably to cloud based environments) and presenting outcomes
- Strong team player that is flexible and creative learning and delivering in different technologies
- Ability to learn and lead with minimal oversight and work on several research projects at the same time
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to simplify and explain complex topics to stakeholders and non-technical audience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology. 3+ years preferred
